Your day started off not so swell with cramps, making the morning awful and groggy. Then the heel of your shoe broke off after you left your house, so you had to flag a taxi to the nearest shoe store to buy a pair of heels. Angry and annoyed, you go to class to find out that it’s cancelled. With all the free time on your hands, you decide to walk back home to save up on money, since the heels and taxi fare did leave a big hole in your wallet.
On your way home, you hear your phone ring and it’s Hoya’s ringtone. Smiling, you fish for your phone from your bag.
“Hey love,” he says and you try to mask the fatigue behind your words.
“Hey, what’s up? No schedules today?” you ask. At this time, he would usually be at the salon, fixing any misplace locks of hair.
“No, I just practiced and I’m starving. Want to go out for lunch after your class is over?” he asks, excited and ecstatic. You feel guilty because you’re almost home and don’t want to drag yourself outside again. He hears you hesitating and speaks up, “It’s okay if you’re busy. We can always go another day.”
“Sorry Hoya, I’m just really tired from my all-nighter last night and today was awful even though it barely started. I’m heading home right now and I’ll tell you everything afterwards.”
“Okay, head home safely and rest. Call me.”
“Thanks, I love you.” You really do have an understanding boyfriend and you feel so grateful for him because his phone call made your day slightly better.
When you reach home, your cramps start to kick in again and you sigh in annoyance. You don’t have the energy to deal with Mother Nature’s gift as of the moment. You slam the door shut after your struggles with finding the keys. It definitely wasn’t a good day after all. Your senses are failing as your eyes fight to stay open as you lollygagged to your room. As soon as your head hits the pillow, you lose yourself to sleep. You dream of you and Hoya doing nothing special. Just being happy with each other’s company and that was enough.
You wake up after the nice nap and realize that two hours has passed. Hearing sounds outside your room, you flinch and stop for a second. You cringe as you sit up, still having cramps and resisting the movement, but slip out of your bed anyway. You head outside and see Hoya in an apron. Amused, you call out to him. “Hoya? What are you doing here?”
“I was here when I called you. I was planning on surprising you but you fell asleep immediately. How are you feeling now?” Hoya brushes the loose strand of hair behind your ear. He looks at you, full of concern and you hug him, closing your eyes. Your boyfriend is so perfect on so many levels.
“I had an awful day but you’re making it better now,” you mutter into his sweater and he laughs while wrapping his arms around you.
“That’s nice to know. How are your cramps? I don’t know how awful they can get, but I hope eating lunch will help,” Hoya leads you by the hand to the dining table. You stand there, frozen by the arrays of food in front of you. Touched, you cover your mouth in awe and Hoya laughs again.
“Don’t tell me you’re already at the verge of tears,” he teases you.
“Thank you,” you say and turn to kiss him on the lips. Your day started off appalling but maybe it’ll end brilliantly.
Tired from work, you haul yourself home. You really hate working a ten hour shift but you had to give away your other shift this week because it clashed with your grandmother’s birthday and you needed all the hours you could get. Feeling slightly light-headed after a bit of walking, you sit on a nearby bench and close your eyes for a few seconds.
A hand on your shoulder wakes you up and you’re face-to-face with Dongwoo. Surprised, you jerk back and almost fall off the bench, but luckily, Dongwoo grabs onto your arm, keeping you from falling. “Woah there, careful,” he says. His eyes are flooded with worry and you try your hardest to hide your fatigue.
“Thanks, just a little out of it,” you tell him but it doesn’t ease his worry. He lets go of your arm and sits beside you.
“You look like the walking dead, was work slaving away at you?” he ask.
“Not as much as your job; it’s nothing.” You assure him and finally take note of your surroundings. There aren’t many people here except for the runners, dog-walkers or couples taking walks. “Are you out on a walk?”
“Yeah, gotta be in shape,” Dongwoo pats the muscles on his arm. You make a gagging face and Dongwoo laughs. You suddenly realize that the show he put on was for the sake of your laughter.
“Thanks.”
“Anyway, the other members are coming soon. We’re going to eat chicken, want to come? You could use it,” he continues to tease you and you shake your head. You see other people coming towards you and recognize that they’re the rest of the Infinite members including your boyfriend.
Sungyeol reacts first and rushes over to you. “What are you doing here? Why do you look so dead? Are you okay?”
“Which one do you want me to answer first?” you ask, smiling. Sungyeol rolls his eyes and Dongwoo bursts out laughing.
“At least I know you’re okay, if you’re joking around like that,” Sungyeol sits beside you with his hand on your head, forcing you to rest on his shoulder. Closing your eyes, you let yourself nuzzle closer to him. He presses his lips on the side of your head and you feel strange at his sudden show of affection but you dismiss the thought.
“Don’t worry, she’s fine.” Dongwoo says.
“Thanks.” Sungyeol replies, “You guys can go out for chicken without me. I’ll take her home.”
“You sure?” you hear Woohyun ask and Sungyeol nods. You open your eyes and they’re all waving good-bye at you. Sungyeol stands up, pulling you up with him. Suddenly, he kneels and ushers you to get on his back. Smiling, you get on his back and he stands up.
“You’re a lot lighter. Should we go out for some food?” Sungyeol asks.
“I just want to sleep,” you mutter and wrap your arms tighter around him.
“You know, Dongwoo likes you,” Sungyeol randomly blurts out and this pulls you back to reality.
“Where did you get that from?” you question, and Sungyeol sighs.
“A guy can tell, trust me. I’m frustrated because I don’t know what to do.” He doesn’t’ say much but you can tell he’s greatly bothered by this.
“You don’t have to be alone. We’ll just let things go with the flow. If things get worst, we can talk it out together. No need for the possessive show,” you joke and Sungyeol nervously chuckles at your revelation.
“I was just mad that Dongwoo was there when I wasn’t,” Sungyeol confesses and you sigh.
“It’s always you, don’t worry.”
Chopping up vegetables, you throw them into the pot and reach over for the salt. You touch someone else’s hand and recoil. You look over at Woohyun grinning and he picks up the salt.
After losing the bet, you and Woohyun were banished to the kitchen to prepare for dinner after Dongwoo and Sungjong finished shopping for the ingredients. You were happy to be paired up with Woohyun at the very least; he’s a good cook but the frequent visits from Sunggyu…He’s a good boyfriend but a very worrisome and suspicious boyfriend.
“You need the salt?” Woohyun asks and you nod. He reaches over to sprinkle salt into the pot, “Enough?”
“Yeah, thanks,” you say, suddenly conscious of the close space between you and him. He doesn’t seem to take note and returns to his usual spot.
“You know, I don’t have the plague,” Woohyun chuckles and you blush a little, embarrassed that he noticed. It’s not that you don’t want to be around him; it’s just that Sunggyu’s in the other room, and being behind closed walls fed to his imagination.
“I know, you’re infested with grease though,” you joke and Woohyun mocks surprise.
“Are you saying you don’t like this?” Woohyun starts to throw hearts at you with his sleazy smile. You laugh, stuffing his face with the hem of his apron.
“Not at all. Let’s get back to cooking before I start throwing hearts at you,” you say and he turns back to his food, shivering.
“The image of you throwing hearts is gross,” he remarks and you whip him on the back with a towel.
“Rude.” You both laugh and continue to cook.
When you and the other Infinite members are settled around the dining table, Sunggyu makes sure he sits beside you. You don’t seem to mind but can already imagine how wild his imaginations are.
“How was cooking with Woohyun?” he asks and you look at Woohyun.
“Awful, his hearts are gag-worthy,” you reply and see Woohyun’s jaws drop.
“Are you kidding me? She avoided me like I had the plague and is horrible at acting cute. Why do you date her?” Woohyun retorts and you grab a pillow nearby and launch it at him. He catches it and sticks his tongue out at you.
“Because he loves me,” you say, and the other members either laugh, smile or shake their heads at your petty argument.
Sunggyu puts his arm around your shoulder and chuckles, “I do love her more than you.”
“Ouch, my heart~” Woohyun exclaims, placing his hand over his chest in fake pain.
“What heart?” you interject, and everyone bursts out laughing.
Afterwards, you continue to eat, not noticing Sunggyu’s silence during dinnertime. The frequent chatter with the other members distracted you and before you knew it, an hour passed. Knowing they have practices early in the morning the day after, you offer to wash the dishes. There were objections but you had a valid reason to wash them and they reluctantly agreed. Sunggyu decided to join you and you two wash the dishes.
“You’ve been quiet,” you mention, stealing a peek at him.
He sighs, “Yeah. Did Woohyun really throw hearts at you?”
You smile inwardly, so that’s why. “Yeah, he did.” Sunggyu tenses up beside you and you look at him, curious, “Why?”
“I’ve been watching him and I think he has a crush on you. I mean, the constant teasing is a big giveaway,” Sunggyu confesses and suddenly, you feel uncomfortable. You and Woohyun were always good friends even before you and Sunggyu started going on, and you had never suspected a thing. Now that he brought it up, it made sense with all the interactions you had with him.
“Despite that, I prefer your heart-throwing any day.” You rest your hand on his shoulder. You feel him shake from laughter and look at him.
“Woohyun said you’re bad at aegyo but you’re doing pretty well to me.”
“It depends on the person,” you reply and he smiles widely. “Stop worrying. Woohyun’s a close friend but nothing more.”
The updates are on the way ~
a compiled list of all of the members’ First Kiss scenarios
After finishing another round on the skating rink, you stop and sigh. You feel a pair of eyes watching you again and you skate to your boyfriend, standing behind the railing. He waves and smiles at you and you return it with a frown.
“You’re not getting on the ice at all?” you ask and he shakes his head.
“You should have told me your surprise was skating. I don’t know how to skate,” Myungsoo replies, pouting. After you uncovered Myungsoo’s eyes with your hands, his face paled at the sight of the rink. You didn’t know he didn’t know how to skate and he made an effort to keep it a secret for the sake of his pride.
“I can teach you how to skate,” you offered and reached for his hand. “Come on, don’t just stare at me. That’s creepy.”
“I’d rather watch you skate so you better do figure eights and triple axles to make me proud.” Myungsoo winks at you and waves you off. You mess up his hair in frustration and skate backwards, keeping your eyes on him. He makes funny faces and you laugh at each and every one of them. Suddenly, you hit something and feel yourself lose your footing. You close your eyes, getting ready for the pain but you don’t feel anything. Instead, you still feel your skates on the ice. You look up to see a boy’s face looking down at you and feel someone’s fingers on your arm, steadying you. The person smiles and you turn around immediately.
“I’m so sorry.” You apologize, your face turning red.
“It happens, don’t worry about it.” The boy smiles and you see a group of boys looking at you too, probably his friends. The boy also does a quick scan and blushes. “I was wondering if you wanted to skate with my group. It seems like you’re alone.” He suggests and from the corner of your eyes, you see his friend smiling.
He seemed nice but if Myungsoo saw, he’d breathe fire. “Sorry, I would love to but I’m here with my boyfriend…he just doesn’t know how to skate. Thanks though.”
“Oh, I didn’t know. Sorry.” He apologizes, looking embarrassed and you assure him that it’s okay. Right after he left, you feel your phone ringing. You see Myungsoo’s name on the screen and look back to see that he’s still missing.
You swiftly pick up, “Hey Myungsoo, where are you?”
“I’m at the back. I can’t walk in these skates, I might need help.” He chuckles nervously and you smile widely at his confession.
“Why are you skating now?” You tease and laugh, while Myungsoo mumbles something inaudibly.
“I don’t want you knocking into other guys, okay? So come back here and help.” Myungsoo hangs up and you shake your head with a smile, making your way to the back.
In ten minutes, Myungsoo has fallen down five times, and he has never stopped complaining about how cold his hands are or how he hates skating.
“DON’T LET GO!” Myungsoo yells and tightens his grip on your hands. You giggle, skating backwards a little faster just to tease him. He gets flustered as he loses his balance but regains it. “You know I don’t have the greatest relationship with gravity so stop teasing me.”
“You’re rarely so cute though.” You reply and Myungsoo glares at you – his expression abruptly changes as he loses his concentration and you already know what’s going to happen. You feel yourself lunge forward as he falls backward but when you land, there’s no pain. Your head hits his chest and you find yourself on top of him. He groans and sits up.
“I hate skating.”
“I told you to fall forward; it’s better to land on your knees than your back.”
“Then you’d land on your back, dummy,” he flicks your forehead and your cheeks heat up at his sweet remark. Before you have time to respond, Myungsoo leans in and kisses you. You feel your cheeks getting even hotter and pull back when you’re conscious of the people around you, possibly watching you.
“Can we stop skating now?” Myungsoo asks and you glare at him.
“We’re not leaving until you do a triple axle.”
get ready for a bunch of scenarios! I got bored at the new years party so I ended up writing a bunch of scenarios ;D
“Look at the stars.” Dongwoo remark, stealing a quick glance at his watch.
You knew the time. If he had asked you, you would have told him. You counted practically every minute spent with Dongwoo because he’s going to set off on his tour soon so his practices are piling up. Today was the first concert and you were in the audience watching him. After the concert, you lodged in the nearby café, waiting for him to go on your date. Fast forward three hours and it’s way past midnight and Dongwoo’s stifling his yawns. You want him to go back to the dorms to rest but you wanted to stay with him for as long as possible. It’s been almost a month since you’ve last seen him and three hours wasn’t enough.
“It’s pretty.” You reply, holding the hand he slung over your shoulder. “Is Sunggyu calling you back?”
“Nope, they collapsed after the concert.” Dongwoo chuckles and he rubs his eyes when he thinks you’re not looking. You were though.
Seeing him so tired broke your heart. “How about we head back?” You lead both of you towards the direction of his dormitory.
“I’ll drop you off at your apartment. It’s pretty late.” Dongwoo says and you frown.
“How about we go to the dorm and I’ll flag a taxi back home.” You suggest.
“Only if I pay the fare.”
You made a face at his suggestion and shake your head. “No.”
“Then we can sleep here,” Dongwoo jokes. “Look, there’s even a bench!” He laughs and you roll your eyes. Despite being tired from a two hour concert, he still has the mindset to make stupid jokes.
“Dongwoo, let’s go back to the dorm.”
“After I drop you off,” he replied in the same tone and you laugh in defeat. There really was no way of winning.
“Fine.” You grumble and he knocks his head with yours, smiling.
“You’re so cute when you lose an argument.”
“Shut up.” You fail at trying to hide your smile.
“Thanks for coming today. It’s not easy having a boyfriend that’s always busy. I mean, we’ve been dating for two months but we’ve only seen each other twice. That’s awful but you never complain. Sometimes I take advantage of it, and just head to bed without sending you a message because I’m so tired.” Dongwoo confesses.
You sigh, but not in disappointment but in relief. “Don’t feel bad. I’m the same. I never see you much so when we’re on a date, I purposely ignore the time even though I know you’re tired. I’m sorry for that.”
“It’s okay.” Dongwoo looks above your head. “We’re at your apartment.” He leans his forehead against yours and you smile despite feeling sad at another departure. Feeling brave tonight, you stand on your toes to reach his lips. He was surprised but held your hands tightly and kissed you back.
You both flinch at the sound of a car horn and you could see the red tint on his cheeks. A goofy smile graces his lips and he looks away, laughing awkwardly.
“Well, I’ll be going now. Good night.”
“Good night Dongwoo.” You reply, feeling your cheeks warm at the mere sight of him.
“I love you.” He whispers and kisses your cheeks, quickly running down the streets, embarrassed. You smiled to yourself watching him disappear.
“I love you too.”
A/N: Don’t you guys find it absolutely endearing and admirable how girls make the first move on these things? I for one know that I can never do that so props to this girl!
Woohyun shook his head in ridicule as you wander around the bookstore, marveling at everything. “Do you think we can leave before midnight?” He asks, chuckling and you glare at him, carrying the books to the cashier.
With the books in your bag, Woohyun motioned to the exit. Holding out his hand, you take it, strolling down the street. The movie you just watched before the bookstore visit was interesting, not your sappy romance but a horror movie for a change. He had probably anticipated you to cower in fright and then he would protect you or something like that, but he didn’t know you adore horror movies.
It was the feeling of being scared that entertained you. Even if you or your friend never understood why, it just did.
You shiver a bit and this gives Woohyun the sign to take off his coat. You two argue for a bit until you feel a drop of rain. That drop of rain turns into a downpour of rain.
“At least we’re going to use your jacket together.” You smile, holding your books close to your chest as Woohyun held the jacket over your heads as a makeshift umbrella.
“You have to take it next time,” he warns but continues to hold the jacket more on your side, leaving his left side wet. Then you spotted a telephone booth and he knew what you were thinking.
Cramped inside the telephone booth, you found yourself pressed against him with your books in between you two. You’ve never been so close to him before and seeing him, feeling him, so close made you nervous.
“This rain is going to take a while.” Woohyun said, his breath ghosting over the skin of your neck. You shivered since the jacket wasn’t that great of an umbrella; your hair was slightly damped.
“Here, take the jacket. You can’t refuse it now.” Woohyun smirked and he brought it around your shoulders. This brought him closer to you and when he pulled back, you realize that his face were mere inches from you.
You and Woohyun stare at each other and both leaned in. You slowly close your eyes, feeling his lips on yours. It was a nervous, almost a hesitant kiss because it was your first kiss together but with time, Woohyun relaxed into the kiss.
He was the first to pull away and slid his hands from your shoulders down to your waist, resting his head on top of yours. You lean towards him, listening to his heartbeat and the rain drops outside. You two stay like that until you hear a faint knock and see someone standing outside.
Woohyun probably didn’t hear because he didn’t move. “Woohyun.” You chuckled and you feel the weight of his head off yours.
“Yes?”
“There’s someone outside, I think he wants to use the phone.” You say and Woohyun flinches, quickly holding your hand to get out of the phone booth.
“Sorry for interrupting.” The person comments as you two walk out. Woohyun apologizes with a huge grin on his face and for some reason, you couldn’t stop giggling.
A/N: Tumblr’s been eating my messages so I lost a few :c Sorry for the lack of responses
“The subway’s here.” Sungyeol remarked and you timidly nod. It’s your first date with him and you felt like an adolescent with your rapid heartbeats and constant blushing. You were good friends with Sungyeol before he asked you to be his girlfriend; you didn’t comprehend how much your relationship would change, how awkward it would get.
You step inside the subway and Sungyeol follows suit. “How did you like today?” You ask and he nods.
“We’ve been together for so long, I didn’t realize that you were allergic to legumes, I thought it was only peanuts.” Sungyeol confess, scratching the back of his head. You didn’t want to publicize your weakness to everyone and besides, the topic never came up.
“I guess that means we have to see each other more often.” You joke around and hear rusty brakes against rusty tracks. Suddenly, everyone in the subway loses their footing – including you.
Sungyeol holds onto the handle above as you literally crash into his chest. There’s a throbbing pain in your ankle thanks to the heels you’re wearing. It’s not your fault your boyfriend is taller than the average height.
The subway steadies and you look up to see Sungyeol looking away, redness rushing to his cheeks. He has his arm around your waist and quickly withdraws it, covering his peppered cheeks.
“We should have gone after rush hour.” Sungyeol mutters, face still covered by his hand.
“Yeah, it wouldn’t be as crowded.” You reply, your voice above a whisper.
Feeling embarrassed, you look out the window and try to enjoy the silence – it didn’t really work.
Your date took the wrong turn afterwards. You and Sungyeol held several awkward, stuttering and mind-boggling conversations. The insecure thoughts worry you. What if the close proximity in the subway scared him and he was reconsidering this relationship between you two? This frightened you because even if you and Sungyeol were friends for a pretty long time, you realize how much you really do like him and want this – whatever it is – to stay as it is, maybe even progress further beyond your imaginations.
With these thoughts, you stop walking.
“Hmm?” Sungyeol asks, noticing the halt.
“You’re being awkward around me, did something happen?” You reply, scared but your voice loud. It was scarier if he had replied: “Yes, I don’t want to be with you anymore.”
“Nothing, sorry. Do I seem more distant?” Sungyeol said, eyes avoiding yours and there was a tremble in his voice.
You nodded. “Are you reconsidering your feelings?” Sungyeol whips his head, his big and bewildered eyes are staring at you. They softened up after seeing your worried expression.
“No, I don’t mean that, I never did.” Sungyeol says, clearing his throat. “It’s just that…—” Sungyeol lets out a small squeal and turns around, burying his face in his palms out of embarrassment.
You turn to face him again, “What is it then?”
His words were muffled and you inched closer. “What?”
He looks down, his cheeks still powdered with a hue of red. “I said I wanted to kiss you.” He said, staring straight into your eyes. You try to fix your gaze on him, even if the embarrassment was making you shrivel.
“Why didn’t you?” You nervously respond.
“I’m worried. We’ve been friends for so long and suddenly we’re more than just friends. I still find it awkward.” He confessed and his eyes shifts anxiously away from yours and then his eyes are on you again. “I still want to kiss you.”
“Then kiss me.”
He looks surprised at first but his hand cups your face and slowly, he inches closer until his lips are on yours.
“Still awkward?” He asks, his lips ghosting over yours, his breath lingering on your lips.
“Yes but I like it.”
It was awkward – yes – but kissing the person you love makes up for it a thousand times.
“What are you reading?” Sungjong ask, rolling onto his back. His movie’s almost finish and he can almost predict the ending so he spared you a glance and saw that you were smiling while reading your book.
You shook your head, “Nothing.” You smiled, reading more of the book. You were getting to the good point and wanted no interruptions.
“Tell me.” Sungjong whines and you give him a gesture to continue watching his movie. He frowns and gets up and takes the book from you. You try to grab it back but Sungjong’s taller and raised it higher, reading bits and bits for you.
“And then, he leaned in, his lips on top of mine.” Sungjong continues to read and you gave up and crawled into a ball with your hands over your ears, drowning out Sungjong’s words. It was embarrassing enough just reading it, but having Sungjong read it to you is another level of embarrassment. He crouches down beside you, hitting you lightly on the head with the book.
“I didn’t know you’re into these romance novels – especially kissing in the rain.” Sungjong chuckled and you grab the book, glaring at him.
“What if I’m into these kinds of novels?” You flip back to the page you were on and Sungjong sat down beside you.
“Do you really like that kind of kiss?” Sungjong poked your arm and you nodded shyly. Truthfully, you and Sungjong are still in the beginning of your relationship so talking about this still makes you blush.
Sungjong hums in response and wanders back to his movie.
After a week of nothing literally (no phone calls, no visits and not even a single text message), Sungjong gives you a phone call before you go to sleep. “Meet me in front of the park with the big fountain at two, okay?”
“Okay but why –”
“Sorry, I can’t really talk right now but you’ll see tomorrow.” Sungjong smiled and hung up on you. You were too tired to be angry at him so you slept it off.
Staring at the big clock, you frowned. Sungjong is late. He was only five minutes late but you were waiting for ten minutes already, having gotten there earlier than expected. After a while of pacing around, hands from behind clamp over your eyes.
“Guess who?” Sungjong whispered closed to your ear and you laugh.
“You’re late.” You grumble and you feel his warm breath on your neck. You feel a blush powdering your cheeks again and thank the fact that he can’t see them.
“I know and I’m sorry. I want to show you something but you can’t see it yet. Walk forward and I’ll tell you when to stop.” Sungjong said and you obliged, walking until you felt grass under your feet.
“Where are we going Sungjong?” You question, a little worried.
“You’ll see, you’ll see.” Sungjong replied. “Stop walking.” You stop and he removed his hands. You blink a few times, adjusting to the scenery when suddenly, water started coming out of the grass. Now, soaked from the sprinklers and confused. You look back at Sungjong who abruptly crashes his lips on yours, catching you off guard but you kiss him back quickly. His hands rest on your waist when he pulls away. You move his wet strands of hair away from his face and smile.
“I’m sorry, it’s not the perfect first kiss. It’s not supposed to rain for the whole week and I couldn’t wait. So this is the closest I can get to rain.” He presses his forehead on yours and you smile again, giving him another quick peck.
“This is perfect, I love it.”
Your head rested on Hoya’s shoulder comfortably. Hoya’s hand hesitantly wrapped his arm around your shoulder. You can tell Hoya’s still anxious about skin-ship (even though you’ve been dating for a month already) but you smile at his efforts.
Hoya’s incredible and is definitely more than what you asked for in a boyfriend. After hearing you complain about your weight and having him reassure you a thousand times only to get shot down, he offered to run with you in the morning. He always knew what to say when you were complaining, how to make you feel better.
Of course, Hoya has a better stamina than you but you didn’t want to give up the fight. Hoya often slowed down for you but after an hour of this, you were already gasping for air. There had been five minute breaks, ten minute breaks and even fifteen minutes. In the end, you could barely walk so Hoya opts to giving you a piggyback ride home.
When you reach your neighbourhood, your pride kicked in and told Hoya to let you walk.
“So when’s your next one?” Hoya asks playfully and you took your head off his shoulder in surprise.
“The next one?” Your voice a little too loud and this amuses him, obviously appalled at the idea.
“Don’t worry, the more you run the less tiring it gets.” Hoya comforts you and you shake your head, almost dreading the ‘next one.’
“I almost died today, I’m not dying again.” You whined. It wasn’t about jogging with Hoya that bothered you. You looked like you just woke up, your hair disheveled and your face pale from the lack of oxygen. There was Hoya; he looked sweaty but at the same time, he looked like he walked out from a commercial. You almost wanted to hide in a hole forever when you two took a picture together to commemorate this event.
“It was fun though.” He remarks and you nod. It was fun though. It’s been a while since you’ve seen Hoya, let alone spend time with him. So other than your mishap, you really enjoyed today; laughing and simply spending time with him is enough regardless of what you do.
When you turn at the familiar street, you close your eyes to rest for a little more. Hoya felt your fatigue and held you closer to him. Even if he was still awkward at this stage in your relationship, he still tried his best.
Your house enters your line of vision and your stomach drops at the thought of leaving Hoya. You stop in front of your house and look up at Hoya to meet his lips closing over yours, kissing you.
Time freezes and your heart skips a beat; it’ your first kiss. His hand’s on the back of your neck, deepening the kiss and his other hand lifting your chin. You fumble a bit with your hands until you decide to grab a fistful of his shirt. When you see his face, he’s blushing and you look away, feeling the heat reach your cheeks.
“So uhh –’ Hoya clears his throat and this is the first time you hear him stumble over his words, “I’ll call you later?”
You nod, unable to form coherent sentences. Hoya nods and walks off which slowly turns into another jog. Your day was spent smiling in oblivious and giggling too much, causing everyone to think you’re crazy but you would respond with laughter.
Before you went to bed, you receive a phone call from Hoya. You hyperventilate for a few seconds then did a few breathing exercises to calm yourself down. “Hello?”
“Hey.” He paused. “How are you doing?”
“I’m good.” You hesitated but smiled widely. “I liked the kiss this morning.”
Hoya stays quiet for a good minute before he clears his throat again. “I was really nervous. I was planning on kissing your cheek for the whole morning but you turned and yeah.” He rambled on and this was another first for Hoya.
“I think it turned out for the better.” You told him and you hear him smiling over the phone.
“So next time?”
“Definitely.”
A/N: it isn’t the best but consider this a comeback scenario! major apologies for going MIA but I’m planning on releasing a whole new set of scenarios before the end of the month.
